Congrats "Grandpa". That is wonderful everyone is doing so well!
Stantheman (2007-04-14)
My daughter finally had her baby..whew!!
Little man is doing well, he farts like he is one of us and grinned at me tonight while he was steady peeing enough to float a battleship..my shirt was soaked :) What is grandpa supposed to be good for anyway right? LOL He is indeed a very special gift-I have laughed at his very funny faces he makes, his stretching like "wow, finally out of that cramped space", and just being such a good little guy-he rarely cries except when mama is cleaning his bottom and restoring a fresh diaper or bath time. The weather here is exceptionally bad-high winds and tornado watches and warnings tonight. I am working 12 hour nightshifts so not much action with email until around May something. Kaden has a web page-here is link:

You didn't speak wrong, there is no doubt some nut out there with that very act in mind. It is not only in Afghanistan, it is not in Iraq, it is not in Mexico, it is not in Canada, it isn't in New York, or Camden or Hoboken or Albuequerque or El Paso or Houston or Seattle or your town or mine is what they want you to believe. Thanks again.
Digital Dreams (2007-03-16)
Okay, I found news online on the topic... I spoke wrong. Apparently while some members of extremist groups have sought to become bus drivers for schools. However, parents and children should feel safe as there is no plot or threat to the children.
Pardon me if I wouldn't feel terribly comfortable letting my children ride the bus!
Stantheman (2007-03-16)
You see what I mean then. These are not martyrs, they are some of the other words that begin with M..murderers, maniacs, menaces to society, murderers mostly with no conscience!! Thanks for the post.

I heard a blurb this evening, you know one of those teases in order to get you to watch the news at 11? That there is evidence that terrorists had planned to attack.. are you ready for this? School buses. That is NOT attacking infidels that is attacking innocent children. These are some sick people.. anyone that would even consider doing that.
Stantheman (2007-03-16)
Good response however, there are few if any religions on the face of this earth that condone taking one's life. So they sinned big time there. Next, they were supposed to be doing this to blow up the "infidels"..whoops..most of the time there aren't any available and they get women and children who are innocent..another sin. The news agencies need to pick up on these little fine points and point it out to them instead of pleading for fair trials for guys who matter of fact killed people who did them no harm. I agree, we need to keep an eye on our back yards and keep our guns loaded. It is coming to a neighborhood near all of us sooner than we think I believe and we need to be ready. Here is an awful thought..it is Saturday afternoon at the local big time mall..some rag hat walks in with around 10 or 15 pounds of C4 wrapped in nails, ball bearings..whatever the most popular thing is and go to the merry go round and boom..not a pretty sight I would say..we need to be watching closer than we are for this kind of thing and putting our border patrol agents in jail for trying to stop some of the people who would do us harm is the wrong way to start it. Thanks for responding.
Digital Dreams (2007-03-16)
I don't pay much heed to that kind of reporting. So, all I've seen is that they believe themselves to be martyrs. That part is true..that they believe it. We do need the media to remind us from time to time to watch our backyards and why we need to watch them. Maybe learn from our mistakes. Why, after all the hijacking of airplanes twenty or thirty years ago, didn't anyone figure out to make the cockpit unavailable to passengers? We let our guard down. I don't imagine, with the media reporting the good information along with the trash, we will let our guard down again. I just wish we could skip the trash part of news reporting.

Well I think Obama and Hillary are going to chew each other to pieces without any need for the Republicans to even have to do anything which is a good thing in my opinion. I don't like either one of them. Hillary was the puppet master for Bill and osama Obama is too close to the islamic bunch...no way!! Have you noticed on the liberal news that suicide bombers are not called murders? They are like people with a mission somehow to those idiots on tv..so were the finatic extremists that flew planes into our buildings with people on board. They are not martyrs, they are not people with a purpose, they don't even represent their own religion well, they are murderers of women, children and non combatants which makes them nothing more than fanatical, suicidal, maniacal freaks of nature. And our media somehow gives them a little air time to glamorize them in their warped sense of political correctness. We are screwed as a nation as long as we keep putting up with this crap from our media and people in our government who don't support our country like it was meant to be by our forefathers. Shame on us for putting up with it. Raise your voices people!!

I haven't decided yet. It just seems early to me to determine this so until all the possible candidates come forth I'll stick with Murdock.
Elvenbeads (2007-03-13)
You want an opinion on who would be a good next President? In my humble opinion... thats Obama. I think he has all the makings of a fine president. I would be willing not only to vote for him but also to help get the man elected. I dont see any other candidates that I currently feel the same way about. ~Blessed be
Stantheman (2007-03-13)
Just in case you are wondering who I think would make a good candidate for President of the United States..besides me of course..here is a link for someone who I would vote for just in case I decide not to run. http://bioguide.congress.gov/scripts/biodisplay.pl?index=T000457

Well, Megamillions: a good way to waste some money but it was fun thinking of all the devious things we would do after we won. Unfortunately, we could only go back to work like always but it was worth the try and fun!! Winnings: $12 from $240 invested among 12 people, don't think this is the way to get rich in the long run.
:)

My opinion is, this country is going downhill fast. We defend the rights of drug smuggling mexicans and put our border patrolmen in jail, we defend the rights of finatics who would love nothing better than to kill us, we tip toe around the subject of homosexuals as if they are special, we listen to crack heads who sing rap and think it makes sense, we call our President and idiot and have no idea what it is like to walk a mile in his shoes, we watch the liberal media on tv and think they are only telling us the truth with no bias, we apologize for slavery to people who weren't from people who didn't, we think the wife of a whore hopping ex pres has a great idea for our future, we want all the troubles to just go away without doing anything to make them do that. We are screwed unless we change our outlook America!! WAKEUP

Opinions, I've heard they are like a certain body part and they all stink. LOL
scribbles (2007-02-17)
Ask them what they accomplished. Listen to them. Then respond with a postitive statement, like, "that is great" or "I am happy for you if that is what you want!". Do this even if you don't agree with them because it is a reflective statement, they hear your postiveness, and then they have to think about what you said, and think about if they made the right decision.
Negative attitudes attracts negative energy. Always look and work with what you have, because all your really have is yourself not things. You are there always.
Stantheman (2007-02-16)
My opinion is: I have failed my children or the can't see their greatness, I really don't know what is right. Teen child decided I was the worst parent ever and to show her independence moved in with my sister in law! Well, that was a shock but my sis in law is a bigger butt than I am..she will learn hopefully and come back home. The only thing I can think of that I am guilty of is excessiveness-I excessively gave my children all I didn't have when I grew up...a form of child abuse..they need to experience the tough times and I with held that from them...guilty as charged! I shielded them too much from life..guilty. So now they leave...I worry.

The kindling that keeps the fire going is attention I think. I may be wrong but I don't think so. If you have a plant and don't give it sunshine, it will wither. Humans are no different, we need sunshine in our lives to make us grow and that should come from a caring mate. Just my opinion.
Stantheman (2007-02-12)
So how are you supposed to find the sunshine? Great question, I am glad I asked that :) You have to figure out where the gap is and then work to close it. A lot of work you say, so is making wine, but people do it. Optimist at heart. I always try to look at the bright side not the dark.

I think in a relationship I should at least get some attention...I'm not asking for a lot.
Stantheman (2007-02-12)
I think love (with valentines day so close) shouldn't be commercial. Why should I have to give him or her some kind of heartshaped thing to prove I love them? I hate to say it but why do we do that at Christmas too? Why not just show them all the time-because some of them don't show it back. I think a relationship should be like valentines day everyday, but mine isn't. Thoughts?
